Ever since I bought the Deepal S7 at the end of July, it’s been mainly used by my wife for daily commute, and our kid absolutely loves sitting in the front seat, constantly swiping their little fingers all over the large screen.
So, as someone who often sits in the back seat, I really appreciate the experience of riding in the Deepal S7.

What’s even more important is that the Deepal S7’s second-row floor is completely flat. There are no bumps or obstructions in the middle. Whether you’re talking about the visual experience or the practical comfort, this is a major plus.

I purchased the Deepal S7 620Max Pure Electric Version for $27k, and its performance truly exceeded expectations at this price point. Describing it as “exceeded” is spot on.
I still remember buying my Chevrolet Trax in 2014. After all the taxes, fees, insurance, and various extras, it ended up costing me around $30k. However, the Trax is a small SUV with a wheelbase of only 2570mm, and it can’t even come close to comparing with the S7.
3. Smart

The designer of the Deepal S7 clearly has the sensibility of an experienced driver and understands the little practicalities of life.
In terms of space planning, creativity is a significant highlight.
For instance, right behind the door lock handle, they’ve intentionally created space where you can easily fit a pack of tissues or even two smartphones. It is undeniable that their attention to detail is impressive.
“Just right” is indeed the best design.
4. Quiet
The last word: Quiet!
I’ve watched some teardown video, and they mentioned how meticulous the craftsmanship is on both the interior and exterior of the Deepal S7’s door panels.
Coupled with the front double-layer laminated glass, whether I’m driving in the front or riding in the back, the most striking experience during the journey is the quiet ambiance. It’s this sense of tranquility that gave me the confidence to place my order swiftly.
Furthermore, Deepal S7 has shown great attention to detail in organizing storage spaces, sparing no expense.
For instance, the incredibly spacious center armrest compartment is fully lined with soft fabric. Not only does this elevate the overall quality, but it also reduces potential noise from items inside, creating a quieter cabin. I’ve learned that the center armrest compartment in the Deepal S7 has a volume of 10 liters.
Underneath the massive center armrest, there’s another substantial space that’s large enough to accommodate a lady’s high heels or a handbag. The designer’s consideration of women’s needs is quite on point.
As a Mid-Size SUV, the Deepal S7 offers a superior luggage space experience. The trunk has a width of 1000mm and a height of 710mm. In its regular state, it seems like the depth and width are roughly similar.
When you fold down the rear seats, the depth extends to 1950mm, and the maximum capacity of the rear cargo space is 435 liters.
If you opt for the pure electric version, there’s even a storage space under the front hood with a capacity of 125 liters, enough for a 22-inch suitcase. It is said that the vehicle has a total of 28 storage spaces throughout.
